News Flash: All the hotel rooms at the Sheraton Framingham sold out 7 minutes after sales opened, and the waiting list has grown long enough that we have halted additions to it as well. However, we have reserved several rooms at our nearby overflow hotels - please check them out (see right).

Hotel Rooms for the 2010 Festival Will Go On Sale
Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 7pm
Click here for more info on our new reservation process for 2010.

Rooms at our convenient, overflow hotels will also be available later in 2009.

Hotel rooms are in major demand. For the 2009 Joe Val Festival, hotel rooms at the Sheraton Framingham went on sale Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 7pm EST, and sold out within an hour.

In 2010, hotel rooms at the Sheraton will be $95 per night for up to four people per room. Remember, Monday after the festival is a holiday, so stick around Sunday night. You cannot make hotel reservations in advance directly through the hotel.

For all questions regarding ticket sales or hotel reservations, contact tickets@bbu.org. For questions regarding membership status, contact membership@bbu.org.

Early Hotel Check In - We've made arrangements with the Sheraton for early check in's beginning at Noon on Friday. Beat the rush and get the weekend started early.

You can also extend your weekend by sticking around for Sunday night at the Sheraton. Same low rate for a Sunday night stay. A reminder that Monday is a holiday.

OVERFLOW HOTELS

As in the past, we have reserved a limited number of rooms at nearby hotels (since the Sheraton always sells out quickly).

From Claudia Langell, long time festival goer:

"Two years ago, I wasn't able to get a room, so I booked one (three, actually, for the whole family) at one of the overflow hotels. I was disappointed that I wasn't at the main hotel--at first--but it actually worked out well. There was picking in the other hotel (and as more people choose this option, you can expect more). The other hotel rooms were much larger, complete with a full kitchen and a living room. They served a free breakfast every morning (not available at the Sheraton). And taking a taxi to the Sheraton cost $4, no matter how many people we wanted to squeeze into the car and no matter what time.

So don't write off the festival if you can't stay at the Sheraton. Give one of the overflow hotels a chance. "

For 2010 we have reserved a limited number of rooms at the Natick Courtyard By Marriott for $95 per night for doubles. The hotel is located at 342 Speen Street, phone 508-655-6100.

This hotel has a cancellation policy - it must be made by 4pm February 11, 2010 or 1 night's room rate and tax will be charged to the individual's account.
