DESCRIPTION:The Open Bluegrass Jam is back! \nThursdays\, 7:30 – 9:00 pm in the sanctuary \nOpen to bluegrass players at all levels – guitar\, mandolin\, banjo\, fiddle\, dobro\, bass\, singers – join Max Anderson as he calls the tunes\, posts the charts\, and leads the group (at a manageable speed) through the great repertoire of tunes and songs from the bluegrass tradition. \nOpen to musicians and those who just want to listen and observe. \nJam dates: \nDecember 2\, 9\, and 16\, January 6\, 13\, 20\, and 27\, February 3\, 10\, and 17\, March 3\, 10\, 17\, 24\, and 31\, April 7\, 14\, and 28\, May 5\, 12\, 19\, and 26 \n$10 suggested donation is greatly appreciated to support the program.

DESCRIPTION:The Concord Open Bluegrass Jam is a weekly\, community driven jam session that prides itself in being an open space for local musicians and music-lovers to socially engage and create music together. \nMaxfield Anderson leads the group through vocal songs and instrumental tunes from a variety of musical traditions\, including bluegrass\, old time\, classic country and western\, blues\, swing\, and beyond. Musicians are encouraged—never required—to bring in songs to play with the group. \nThe Jam is open to acoustic musicians including voice\, fiddle\, mandolin\, guitar\, banjo\, dobro\, bass\, cello\, harmonica\, etc. and at all levels\, as well as community members who wish to listen and enjoy the beautiful sanctuary. \nThe Jam is open to the public.
