Brookline Old Time Jam

Held every Sunday 1-3 in either St Paul's Church inside or along the Charles River at Herter Park. Hosted by Andrew Tanis We get together and play old-time music. During the warmer months we meet outdoors at Herter Park Boston, MA. Once it's cold we meet indoors in Brookline, MA. Join us if you play fiddle, clawhammer banjo, guitar, cello, bass, mandolin, ukulele, autoharp, pennywhistle or anything else, or join us to listen and/or dance. Della Mae at Lookout Farm

Lookout Farm 89 Pleasant St, Natick, MA

TCAN presents DELLA MAE live and in concert, outdoors at Lookout Farm in South Natick, MA.  The Belkin Family Lookout Farm in Natick, established in 1651, is one of the oldest continuously working farms in America. Sited on 180 scenic acres, patrons will be seated at spaciously distanced picnic tables that are sanitized between use. Guests can enjoy farm-crafted beer, hard cider, and New England cuisine while enjoying a live concert by Della Mae. Della Mae is a Grammy-nominated, all-women string band made up of founder and fiddle player Kimber Ludiker, lead vocalist/guitarist Celia Woodsmith, guitarist Avril Smith, and bassist Vickie Vaughn. Hailing from across North America, and reared in diverse musical styles, they are one of the most charismatic and engaging roots bands touring today. They have traveled to over 30 countries, spreading peace and understanding through music. Their mission as a band is to showcase top female musicians, and to improve opportunities for women and girls through advocacy, mentorship, programming, and performance.

Featuring, but not limited to Bluegrass music Bring your Guitar, Banjo, Fiddle, Bass, Dobro, Harp (all types), mandolin, bones, etc.. and come and enjoy a night of great music. The Parish Center For The Arts (The PCA). 10 Lincoln Street Westford, MA PCA is a BYOB facility, so feel free to bring snacks, a bottle, whatever! Please bring whatever you need, and be sure to police up everything when we go. I ask you to leave no trash, garbage, bottles, cans, etc behind. There are chairs and tables as needed. This is a pass-the-hat event, with proceeds going to the PCA to offset the cost of our usage. Welcome to players of all skill levels and audiences alike. Free parking Monthly on 3rd Fridays, 7-10pm

With the energy of fiddle music, the introspective quality of contemporary folk, the precision of bluegrass, and the drive of Americana, the members of Low Lily (Liz Simmons, Flynn Cohen, and Natalie Padilla) combine their individual talents into one stunning soundscape. Low Lily has shared their signature sound with enthusiastic audiences throughout North America and the UK, garnering two #1 songs on international folk radio and two Independent Music Award wins. In 2018, the band released a full-length album with 2X award-winning title track “10,000 Days Like These" and their original song “Hope Lingers On”, which has been sung by choirs around the world as an anthem for peace and justice.

High Horse at Passim

High Horse is a progressive-acoustic boy band featuring four friends, three bows, and one pick. A mix of celtic and classical music, it’s a band of brothers playing alternative rock on acoustic instruments, it’s a rollicking romp of great vibes, virtuosic chops, and tight vocals. Comprised of fiddler Carson McHaney, cellist Karl Henry, guitarist G Rockwell, and bassist Noah Harrington; the band draws from their varied musical backgrounds to explore and perform original compositions and tunes from diverse folk traditions. High Horse is based in Boston, collecting the skills and artistry learned from their education at the Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory. Their debut album will be released in 2024, produced by world-renowned mandolinist Jacob Jolliff and engineered by sound wizard Dave Sinko.

Backbeat 4th Thursday Jam – Beverly

Backbeat Brewing 31A Park, Beverly, MA

7-9:30 pm every 4th Thursday at Backbeat Brewing in Beverly, MA. Join us the 4th Thursday of every month to listen or play! All levels welcome. Our first jam in May was a big success with over twenty players jamming in the restaurant and out on the patio. Lively bluegrass filled the air and judging by the hearty applause, everyone loved it! The Backbeat menu feature two dozen delicious beers on tap, and the kitchen cooks up tasty thin-crust pizzas (including a gluten-free option) and various appetizers. Backbeat is located at 31 Park St (just off Rantoul), directly across the street from the Beverly Depot train station. There is plenty of on-street parking. Check Facebook for updates to the schedule.
