DESCRIPTION:The Whately Old Time Jam takes place each month on the third Tuesday from 7pm-9pm-ish\, unless there is a special event preceding the jam such as workshop. We gather in Whately Town Hall Audititorium in Whately\, Massachusetts.\nThis is an Old Time jam\, keeping to tunes and songs in the Old Time repertoire. Speed and tunes will be up to those who attend. We’ll go round the circle so everyone can choose tunes and pace. Old Time chestnuts\, waltzes\, obscure and/or crooked tunes\, tunes that don’t resolve\, tunes with questionable chords\, tunes with weird numbers of A/B/C/D/E parts – all welcome if someone can lead it.

DESCRIPTION:Some of the Greatest Bluegrass music you can see and hear at one of the largest family musical events in New England! The Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festivals has something for all ages and it takes place twice every year bringing thousands of Music lovers from all over the World to hear banjos\, fiddles\, and those high\, lonesome harmonies which features many National and Local bands from all over the world. Music happens every June and August. The First Blistered Fingers Festival was established in June of 1991 and 5 years later the decision was made to start the August festival. There are accommodations for Buses\, RV’s\, Campers\, Tents\, Day Attendees and 4 days of entertainment. Come early\, relax and enjoy!

DESCRIPTION:Old Time Jam hosted by Betsy Green first Tuesday of the month\, except August is the first Sunday.\n\n\n\nCome be part of The Word Barn’s monthly old-time jam session!\n\n\n\nAll levels and all instruments are welcome.\n\n\n\nBring your banjo\, fiddle\, guitar\, mandolin – or whatever old-time acoustic instrument you have – and spend a few hours playing along with fellow musicians of all skill levels and backgrounds.\n\n\n\nHeld every third Tuesday of the month. On warm evenings\, we’ll circle up in the Meadow around the campfire; on cooler evenings\, we’ll be cozy inside The Word Barn itself.\n\n\n\nDon’t play an instrument? Come on over\, kick back\, and enjoy the tunes!\n\n\n\nFree admission for all – donations accepted. Registration requested (space is limited).\n\n\n\nAfter catching up\, sharing a pint (or two)\, and choosing a key\, the music will begin\, with a last call for tunes coming around 8:45pm.\n\n\n\nSessions are led by uber talented fiddler\, Betsy Green.\n\n\n\n**Please note and watch the calendar – Old-Time Jam session dates are subject to shift from the 3rd Tuesday as needed due to holidays and conflicts.\n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to the NH State Council on the Arts.
