SUMMARY:Backbeat Brewing Bluegrass Jam
DESCRIPTION:All pickers\, singers and Bluegrass fans are invited to join us on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month at Backbeat Brewing in Beverly\, MA.  The jam starts at 7pm and runs until at least 10 (usually ends closer to midnight!) \n\n\n\nThere is plenty of on-street parking. (Meters run to 8pm in Beverly) \n\n\n\nThe taps offer many delicious brews ranging from NE IPA’s to genuine English style cask ales\, and the kitchen cooks up tasty thin crust pizzas (available in gluten free and vegan options).

DESCRIPTION:Each month on the Second Tuesday at Toad/McCarthy’s \nThe Flat Earth Rounders are an omin-trad genre-fluid old timey stringband led by bandleader Zach Meyer. Propelled by Zach’s deep-seated and universal connection to roots music of all kinds combined with his ability to play whichever instrument is most fitting\, the Flat Earth Rounders repertoire spans a wide variety of roots music deep cuts ranging from Appalachian fiddle tunes\, to Cajun dancehall classics\, to 1930s clarinet rags\, and more!  \nBacking Zach are a rotating cast of local all stars\, including Erica Weiss\, Oliver Strand\, Rachel Rosenberg\, Riley Mullaney\, Ben Wetherbee\, and Dan Bui. Together\, the crew is heralding a Boston-based revival of the 1980s Seattle folk revival\, preserving the music composed and recorded by luminaries such as Jack Link\, Hank Bradley\, Mark Graham\, the Hurricane Ridge Runners\, and Zach’s own father\, Bill\, while adding their own modern twist.
