The Whately Old Time Jam takes place each month on the third Tuesday from 7pm-9pm-ish, unless there is a special event preceding the jam such as workshop. We gather in Whately Town Hall Audititorium in Whately, Massachusetts.
This is an Old Time jam, keeping to tunes and songs in the Old Time repertoire. Speed and tunes will be up to those who attend. We’ll go round the circle so everyone can choose tunes and pace. Old Time chestnuts, waltzes, obscure and/or crooked tunes, tunes that don’t resolve, tunes with questionable chords, tunes with weird numbers of A/B/C/D/E parts – all welcome if someone can lead it.
