Multiple award winning musician G Rockwell‘s album, Spark! showcases why he has won banjo and guitar competitions throughout the country. With a combination of many original songs, and respect for the traditions of bluegrass, gypsy swing and old time; the album is both progressive and traditional in its feel.
The band members are all award winning musicians in their own right, hailing from the Boston area. Korey Brodsky (guitar/mandolin), Sofia Chiarandini (fiddle), and Noah Harrington (bass) bring Rockwell’s compositions to life with incredible instrumentation. Michael Sassano, of Too Blue, joins the studio band in live performances on both guitar and mandolin. In G’s words, “this is a band that can drive and swing.”
