Students in the American Roots Music Program at Berklee College of Music explore the lifeblood of America’s musical and cultural heritage found in a wide range of rural and early American music of the first half of the 20th century.
Heading out of Boston Westbound To Nowhere, is a new group putting a Roots twist into your old favorite tunes, as well as bringing it home with some driving Bluegrass. From the Stanley Brothers to the Jacksons, they’ve got it all! Westbound To Nowhere features the superb vocals of Lucy Singleton and Madison Simpson, Corban Welter on mandolin, Torbjørn Sebastian Aanonsen on guitar, and Trevin Nelson on banjo.
