Highfield Hall in Falmouth, MA is holding its sixth annual “Bluegrass on the Lawn” concert on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. Two bands will be on hand: Boston-based Chasing Blue (www.chasingblueband.com) playing at 4:00 and 6:00 and Mile Twelve (www.miletwelvebluegrass.com) at 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Chasing Blue plays a mixture of original and traditional bluegrass material with unique arrangements and a hard-driving style. Mile Twelve is a four-piece bluegrass band that plays both traditional and contemporary bluegrass, emphasizing tight vocal harmonies and lively instrumentals.
