Composer Carol Barnett has composed The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass. She has combined the solemnity of a Mass with the downhome energy and invigorating rhythms of bluegrass. The performance will be accompanied by Monroe Crossing.
The two groups will also perform arrangements by Kevin Siegfried of Shaker Hymns. Monroe Crossing will also perform a set of their own music with their special blends of bluegrass.
